So Blessed

On Saturday, I was so blessed by friends and family! In 8-9 short weeks, Baby #3 will be making his appearance and my sweet friends threw a sprinkle shower for our newest arrival. I felt so loved and blessed by this gesture and just loved it!! :) So, thank you, thank you, friends and family!

A quick pic even though we didn't quite get everyone! (I realized that I hardly have ANY pics of my friends and I....it's just so easy to take pictures of our kiddos! Here are a handful of the beautiful friends who made this day so special!)

Both of the mothers were even able to make it!!

Now I feel so ready! I'm even looking forward to the late nights because it will mean that Baby W will be HERE (and I'm excited for time alone with him when the other 2 don't need my attention)! Can't wait to meet him!

30

1) I turned 30 a couple weeks ago. I rather like 30....I think I've inherited my grandpa's winning ability since I won some gift cards and movie tickets (I've started putting my name in drawings for everything now!) and I'm just really excited about this decade of putting down roots in Minnesota, enjoying time with family, and hopefully traveling more!!

2) I'm 30 weeks preggo with Baby #3. We've decided on a name that I absolutely love....I still can't believe that we both love it because it's just perfect with our other 2 names (and we were really struggling with getting a name we BOTH loved and went with our other names!). Plus, it has so many reasons why we picked it....I love having a story to tack onto a name :) I'm getting pretty exhausted these days and although I KNOW I'll be tired when he gets here, I'm anxious this time around and want the next 10 weeks to fly by!

3) DIY has been the name of the game lately in our household. We've been throwing almost every cent of extra money toward our student loans that we acquired while Aaron went back to school!! (that might be a whole blog post someday) One of the ways I've tried to cut back to have more money for loans is by trying to DIY as much as possible. Case in point? Aubrey's Easter dress. A few days before Easter, I tried on a hand-me-down Easter dress on her to find that it was too small! I had some pink satin fabric laying around so I whipped this baby up instead of buying a dress! Yay for DIY Easter dresses!

3a) And for Mr. Tristen, the superhero obsessed, I HAD to make a cape! Hello easiest project ever!!

4) Bucket List item was crossed off last weekend! I've always wanted to see Olympic skaters in person....well, you can barely see them but this is Meryl Davis and Charlie White :) I love, LOVED watching figure skating in real life. Oh.my.goodness....next time I want front row seats because it really was breathtaking at times!

5)May is going to be BUSY....I feel like we're in the home stretch before summer and then we'll slow down before the baby comes. I'll be subbing quite a bit and the hubby is working long stretches...just the way the month panned out for him (his schedule changes every week/month) *whew* June will be a breath of fresh air :)

And that, my readers, is a small snippet of our life lately!
