Today I want to PAINT anything and everything!!! We have been watching home videos of our first 6 years together while we try to put them on DVD's and yesterday's home video was of our old house in Iowa. And, I was totally in awe of how much I painted in my old house! I was also VERY motivated to put my paint clothes on and PAINT up my entire house.
But, the reality hit yet again.....I may have to repaint everything in a mere 6 months and it's just NOT worth it to have it cute for a short period of time. Therefore, I will live with my white walls for just a bit longer and live vicariously through my old home videos :) Painting with two little kids would be crazy anyways so I suppose I'm saving myself a major headache!! :)
Today is the Super Bowl....this might be the first year I don't watch. We've been keeping ourselves incredibly busy over the last few weeks and I think we need a day just to do nothing before another busy week hits! We'll see...maybe I'll have it on in the background at least :)
Today would be a great day for my nephew to enter the world!! He's past his due date (as of yesterday!) but we're all slightly hoping he makes his appearance next Saturday (since it's his momma's AND his grandmother's bday! How cool to have 3 generations share the same bday!?) but for Lindsay's sake, I hope he comes today or sometime before then :)
Today we had an incredible service at church. I'm getting very attached to my church. This is a great thing until I think about the very near future and the possibility of moving. So, I just don't think about moving and focus on the relationships in the here and now.....and today was a great day at church :) I appreciate how the majority of the people in my church volunteer their time so that it isn't just one person/one group of people who are doing everything!
Today I'm going to relax and not get worried about the busy week ahead. My focus is on....
