Father's Day

My family came to visit over Father's Day weekend. It rained part of the day but it didn't stop Tristen and his cousin, Iylah, from enjoying the outdoors. Pretty sure they had more fun puddle jumping than seeing the animals that we drove to see :)

Pictures with our kids are just SO hard to come by these days! If we can get both the kids to sit still and have it not be TOO blurry, we feel like we've accomplished something! So, here's a picture of our kiddos and Aaron on Father's Day...I'm rather smitten with the pic because it shows how much my kids love their dad :)

We are down to ONE month until Baby #3 gets here!! Wahoo!!! My kids are excited....I think mostly because it will mean mom will stop accidentally bumping them with her belly! Ha! It's hard to take care of kids while being 9 months preggo!! Aubrey is OBSESSED with babies and since Aaron and I already have a hard time taking turns holding a newborn, this could be interesting! (I find it slightly funny since we were both terrified to hold newborns a short 4 years ago! 2 kids and 4 nieces and nephews turned us into newborn lovers quite quickly!) This baby will be loved and adored, that's for sure!!

Happy Monday, all!

Joy

Stopping to enjoy the little things:
Summer, the beating of the sun on our skin, playing with sticks in the lake,
picnics in the park, my kids loving the outdoors

My son's face says it all: Joy!

Memorial Day

I'm SO behind on everything these days!! I know, I have an excuse, but still! I have such high and lofty goals but I often find myself SO tired by the end of the day (meaning, by 7:30 at night) that I just want to sleep :)  Only 6 more weeks though....no one warned me how much LONGER a 3rd pregnancy seems to be. Not sure why, but this 3rd trimester has been the longest out of all of my other pregnancies. Anyways!

Here's one little highlight from the last month of life: Memorial Day!! The husband had Memorial Day off (he works every other holiday) so we got to spend time with my family and play with my 2 adorable little nieces. SO fun.....a few pics for your entertainment:

The newest little one :) Amazing that she'll probably be out playing with the other 3 in just a year's time!
