Just a week ago, we had snow!! Now it's beautiful and 70 degrees!
2 weeks ago, Aaron had a random week off of work. It just happened to be Spring Break week which meant we didn't have our usual weekly commitments either! Our spontaneous, adventurous selves wanted to JUMP in the car and drive to the nearest warm beach. Well, we figured out it was a 19 hour drive so our common sense won over (19 hours in a van with 2 littles?! Umm, yikes!) and we headed to a waterpark instead :) The hour drive was perfect...someday we'll make the 19 hour drive!
We spent a little time at the Children's Museum first...Aaron's trying to influence Aubrey to go into the medical field. I think it's working!

And then we headed to the Mall of America and saw the sharks! Tristen LOVED it while Aubrey slept through it :)
It is FINALLY nice outside! A funny thing happens in Minnesota on the first nice day of the year. It's like we're truly in hibernation and we all come out of our caves....so fun to see people again outside!
Aaron's brother and his wife came to visit us for the weekend! The kids loved having aunt and uncle time and we loved having them come visit!
Sarah and I are both expecting and only 10 weeks apart! So, here's the "belly shot"-she's at 15 weeks and I'm at 25! Too fun!
We DID end up doing something spontaneous (it wasn't to a beach but a quick trip to Iowa randomly) to see my parents and pick up our convertible!! That baby has been in storage for 2 whole years so my husband was VERY excited to get it out again! We're looking forward to some convertible rides this summer again!
Last night, I noticed that Aubrey's hair is FINALLY long enough to put into pigtails. Oh.my.goodness. I can't get over how much I love her pigtails!!! The first of MANY pigtail days!
