Yea! I'm 26!!! I really like this age so far :) I had a GREAT day yesterday! Aaron and I went to Minneapolis for the day! While I was hoping to walk around downtown, we opted for shopping instead since it was so rainy. I set out to have a shopping spree in IKEA and only came away spending $7....not quite the shopping spree I was hoping for but I realized that IKEA is more fun when you have a house that you need things for :)

Last Week
This week is my last week of being the big 2-5. On Saturday I turn 26 and unlike last year, I'm really excited to turn 26! I like even numbers so being 26 instead of 25 sounds so great right now! I know, I know, it's one year closer to 30 but I suppose I'm starting to embrace that I will be 30 in 4 short years :)
There hasn't been too much to blog about lately hence the lack of blogging :) I have formal observations and reviews this week for my job so it's been keeping my mind pretty occupied. Aaron has two more weeks left of classes until finals and then we start our incredibly busy summer schedule as Aaron will take two accelerated classes and I will be looking for a summer job!
So, that's us lately! Not too much going but I guess after the crazy last few months, it's kind of a nice change! :) Happy Wednesday all!
(Oh, and Happy 30th Birthday to my brother-in-law Nate!)

Engagement Scrapbook = Complete!
*sigh* It feel soooo good to have a project done....but, my fellow project lovers, don't you think it's a little bittersweet? Excited to be done but then CRAVING another project to invest into? :)
Well, that's how I've been! I finished my engagement scrapbook...probably the fastest I've ever completed a scrapbook and now I'm onto the dreaded wedding one! Maybe I'll fit in a vacation one in between just so I can put off my wedding scrapbook for a few more months. It just sooooo intimidating and I can be a perfectionist sometimes! So....here's a few snippets from my scrapbook!

April Fools Day
April Fools Day is the funniest day to be a preschool teacher. Kids aren't nasty with pranks yet but instead they are so sweet, innocent, and ridiculously funny :) Although I heard that I had "a bug on my head" all day today, I loved every second of it and laughed at every joke..... :) It was soooooo fun! :)
I don't have anything spectacular to say today except that I love God's surprises. Sometimes they are so hard to get through and require a great deal of trust but other times (like lately), they are sweet and tender moments at school where I'm falling in love with my job and my students are worming their way into my heart. I never expected to grow so fond of my job this quickly :) But, today as I ran around the playground hiding from "the monster" with my precious students, I smiled and thanked the Lord for the unexpected surprise of loving my job :) He truly did know what He was doing :)
So, although I didn't fall for any pranks today, I did have a surprise in life....an utter joy and complete peace that I'm right where God wants me....playing with and loving on precious children :) *sigh* April is going to be a good month :)
