Life

I REALLY wanted to be better at blogging this year. Mostly because it's nice to have a journal of our life on here (and maybe I can replace scrapbooking with making my blog into a book at the end of the year? That would be awesome!) but, life happens. We travel. We invite people over. We live life.

And, I suppose that's better than always documenting everything. My husband and I are very different in that way. I take pictures of anything and everything to document it. My husband lives in the moment and doesn't care about the camera....I think between the 2 of us, we could come up with a good balance :)

So, I'll keep putting stuff up when I have time...and know that we're just plain living life when I'm absent from this online space :)

Connor will be 9 months old on Friday (and since it's my birthday as well, he can be my birthday present) :)

He started crawling this month, saying "Hi!", has 7 teeth, and has just started pulling himself up.
He's still on the skinny side but we're eating plenty of avocados and meat around here :)

He's SOOOO funny....it's fun to see our kids' personalities really come out. Tristen is shy and cautious but really comes out of his shell when he's comfortable around people. Aubrey is a social butterfly and loves hugs, kisses, and cuddles. She's a pretty spunky little thing and always has been. And then there's Connor. He just sits and laughs. He loves to be around people (although he's going through a phase of only wanting me!), and has an odd sense of adventure (he loves to be elevated in the air...which is odd since his room is slowly becoming an airplane room. I planned it well before he was born...maybe I somehow knew how much he would love heights!) We're joking he's going to be our skydiver/pilot child that we're always worried about. And he'll have a smile on his face the whole time saying, "Look Mom!!! Look how high I can go!" :)

Someday soon (when it's warm), I'll get around to taking some updated pictures of this little man....but in the meantime, here's a pic of our smily, funny, almost 9 month old child :)
